As communicated in our email, we’ve made the difficult decision not to renew our lease, which expires May 31, 2020. TTJ has always been our way of trying to make the world a better place one student at a time. It’s been an endeavor of love and a way to give back to the community.
To compensate you for class fees already paid in April we will:
at the school (although legally we can NOT offer our standard or group martial arts classes at our location)
outside the school on the lawn (preferred)
at another private location that allows adequate social distancing to occur
or, after the social distance measures end, even if we no longer have a dedicated location
Offer private or semi-private lessons (usually $50/45 min), done with proper social distancing in place either:
Apply credit toward belt testing fees and weapons OR other equipment (wave masters, shields, Bobs, etc.)
Reach out via email or by calling Master Johnson @ 503-544-9975
We will be suspending all May fees, regardless if we are able to teach formal classes.
During this high-stress time of uncertainty, physical activity is as important as ever for the health of your body and your mind. Need ideas?
We hope this message finds you all staying home, staying safe, and staying well.
There is a lot going on in the world right now that is adding to everyone’s stress and anxiety. We miss seeing all of you, but we also know this is the right thing to do, to flatten the curve, and to help ensure our first responders have what they need to do their jobs safely.
Thank you to any of you, your loved ones, or close friends on the front lines, in a job or industry deemed critical. Thank you for your service!
Unfortunately we have not identified a reasonable way to spin up a digital platform for classes. We are trying to stay in touch through:
